Point of Praise: Children & Youth Music Ministry
Point of Praise is an after-school music ministry of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church to provide an opportunity for children & youth to sing in a choir, learn an instrument, and grow musically in a positive environment.
This program launches on September 11th, and the schedule is as follows: K-2nd grade: Mondays after school til 4:30; 3-5th grade: Wednesdays after school til 4:30; 6-8th grade: Tuesdays 3:00 til 3:45 (during the Walk program); 6-12th grade Handbell choir: Wednesdays 4:15-5:30
This year, we will be offering an opportunity for all elementary students to learn to play instruments. K-2nd graders will learn Orff instruments and 3-5th graders will learn handbells. These ensembles will be integrated during the normal time that your child comes after school for choir.
If your middle school child would like to participate in the youth handbells on Wednesdays at 4:15, they can come to The Walk after school to do homework, eat, and socialize with friends in a controlled environment. Registration for The Walk HERE!
